Sunrise, Moonrise, always a lovely surprise!

Sunrise Lake Michigan Jan 2015

Despite the fact my photography skills leave a lot to be desired, I do enjoy attempting to capture the moment, as it were.  The above photo was take a few weeks ago over Lake Michigan.  I caught the morning sun’s twin in the stillness of the water.

Last week the full moon decided to sprinkle some of its shimmer onto the water, creating a bit of an elongated, ‘standing-up’ illusion.

I’m always quite hesitant to post my little photos, as there are some outstanding photographers here in the blogosphere.  I admire them all and to be perfectly honest, I am in awe of their talents.  As for me, why, I just like to share a little moment or two with you, not only in words, but sometimes in photographic captures, even if I’m standing behind an amateur lens.  You get the picture!! 🙂

Ah bless! Thank you, dear Iris! I always feel my little photos are not capturing what I really see; I’ll keep trying! Love, Cher xo

Oh, the quality of the lens only matters a little. It’s more important to point the camera at something interesting, instead.

Keep posting, I enjoy them and these two are beautiful. I admire the photographers pics for their skills, but beautiful content works equally well in a different way. I post all sorts just to illustrate and have the same worry as you, but i don’t think we meed to.
