The Chicago Files

A CANADIAN EXPAT'S EXPERIENCES AND OBSERVATIONS LIVING IN THE WINDY CITY!

Clouds Oct 27 2015

I took this photo a few days ago with the captivating clouds forming interesting patterns over Lake Michigan.  The sun was creating some lovely hues of oranges and pinks during the early morning hours.  This is, “All Saints’ Day”, the day after Halloween.  I thought it was a fitting photo to describe such a day!!

Wow! Nice shot. Beautiful sky but a bit ominous. It must be that stormy weather that went through our area yesterday. Cher, you’ve shown us it’s not just the Chicago skyline that’s magnificent. It’s the lake shore sunrises, too.

Thank you so much, Mike! I always appreciate your wonderful words! I took this shot a few days ago, actually. But we’ve seen some very ominous clouds roll over Lake Michigan, that is for sure! I’ll be on the lookout for them and take photos (November can be nasty over the Great Lakes as you know). We had rain add day here, yesterday, Mike! Cher xo
