The Chicago Files

A CANADIAN EXPAT'S EXPERIENCES AND OBSERVATIONS LIVING IN THE WINDY CITY!

I have been on architectural boat tours here in Chicago at least a dozen times (perhaps more)!  The most recent tour allowed for a view I’d never seen before.  The captain of the boat, prior to ending the tour, turned the boat around in such a way that passengers could take photos from this unique perspective!

At the end of the one hour tour, the boat normally meanders down the Chicago River and heads back to Navy Pier with the above view in our ‘rear mirror’, as it were.  This was such a treat to see the amazing sight of some of the downtown area, ‘head-on’.

I always love to see things from an interesting (and new) perspective!
